Meet Kathy Most
Hi, I’m Kathy Most, LCSW—a psychotherapist, mindset coach, author, and speaker. I’ve been a licensed therapist since 1999 and in private practice since 2002, and for more than 25 years I’ve had the privilege of helping people better understand themselves, overcome what gets in their way, and create meaningful change.
I don’t believe there is a one-size-fits-all approach to personal growth, health and wellness. This is part of why I offer both therapy and coaching. Different people need different things at different times, and I want to offer a range of approaches and tools to help you find what works for you. Each person brings their own experiences, challenges, strengths, and goals to the process. My role is to help you understand what may be holding you back, develop greater self-awareness and self-compassion, and find practical tools that work for you.
My Approach
My approach is warm, compassionate, curious, and nonjudgmental—with accountability when it’s needed and helpful. I look at the whole person and the ways your thoughts, emotions, habits, relationships, and daily life may be moving you toward or away from the life you want.
I’m also a certified yoga instructor, and yoga has deeply influenced the way I think about both personal growth and life. Yoga taught me the importance of listening to your mind and body, respecting where you are in the moment, moving at your own pace, and finding balance. Those same principles show up in the way I work with people.
Ultimately, I believe we’re all simply and beautifully human. We all struggle. We all get stuck. And we all have the capacity to grow and change. You don’t have to become a different person—you’re not wrong or broken-you may simply need the right support, perspective, and tools to reconnect with yourself and move forward.
Outside of my work, I’m a wife, mother, reader, yogi and lifelong learner. I love spending time with family and friends, being outdoors (any where near water and I’m happy), being creative (no talent required-coloring counts!) and slowing down to enjoy being simply human.
I’d love to help you find the approach and tools that work for you.
